The new and highly popular Harvest Ride play area has been officially opened this month!
Warfield Harvest Ride Councillors Cliff Thompson and Gareth Barnard were joined by local resident Sandra Ingham, also a Town and Borough Councillor, at the official opening of the popular Harvest Ride play area.
The Council Park Services and Countryside Rangers, who manage the site, as well as a representative from Kompan, and Warfield’s young Busy Bees helped make the opening complete.
An investment of £70,000 by Bracknell Forest Council has seen the tired and outdated play area improved with new and fun equipment that caters for a wider age range of children.
Cllr Iain McCracken, Bracknell Forest Council, Executive Member for Culture, Delivery and Public Protection said: “It’s a pleasure to be able to provide these new facilities, which I hope can be enjoyed by many more children and young families for years to come”.
Local Conservatives are working hard to upgrade the infrastructure in Warfield Harvest Ride.
